Turaco Analytics (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us") processes personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). This notice covers turacogroup.co.za and our client website and custom-software work, including retainers. It does not cover mobile apps or other services sold by separate businesses.

What we collect and why

We collect the name, email, phone, and company details you give us, the messages you send, and technical data such as your IP address and browser. Paystack collects card details on its checkout. We receive only the payment status, reference, amount, card type, and last four digits. We use this to reply, quote, deliver and bill the work, prevent fraud, and keep tax records.

When we host a system for a client, we process that client's user data on the client's instructions. The client's privacy notice applies.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed with providers who host systems, send email, keep accounts, and process payments, and only for that work. We also share it with professional advisers and with authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information. Some providers store information outside South Africa. We transfer it only where POPIA allows.

You may ask what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to direct marketing. We keep payment and tax records for at least 5 years, and other information only as long as the purpose requires.
